Dr. Ehrlich Featured on Connecticut Style

Dr. Ehrlich was recently featured on channel 8, WTNH in Connecticut with his successful LAP-BAND patient, Rosie Navarro. Dr. Ehrlich discussed the differences between gastric banding and gastric bypass surgery and explained how the bariatric surgery program at Griffin Hospital in Derby CT is set apart from the others. Under the leadership of Dr. Ehrlich, Griffin Hospital will offer psychological counseling, support groups and even exercise programs to all  its weight loss surgery patients. Empowering Healthy Living: Exercise Programs Now Being Offered at Griffin Hospital

exercise-cartoonGriffin Bariatrics now offers exercise programs on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00am to noon at its Connecticut facility. You will have the opportunity to participate in a medically supervised exercise program where your blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation are all monitored. Fitness testing is also available and exercise guidelines are developed based on those results. You will exercise with other patients that have had similar surgeries, such as LAP-BAND surgery or gastric bypass.
