Choosing Health over Obesity Inspiring Change through Empowerment
The obesity rate is on the rise and everyday more evidence surfaces linking obesity to life threatening health conditions. Still, there exists a serious stigma surrounding obesity, its causes and its solutions. The C.H.O.I.C.E campaign hopes to combat this stigma by raising awareness and petitioning congress to recognize obesity as a serious disease.

Dr. Ehrlich Featured on Connecticut Style

Dr. Ehrlich was recently featured on channel 8, WTNH in Connecticut with his successful LAP-BAND patient, Rosie Navarro. Dr. Ehrlich discussed the differences between gastric banding and gastric bypass surgery and explained how the bariatric surgery program at Griffin Hospital in Derby CT is set apart from the others. Under the leadership of Dr. Ehrlich, Griffin Hospital will offer psychological counseling, support groups and even exercise programs to all  its weight loss surgery patients.
